Team Lead – Cyber Security

MAKEEN Energy is strengthening our cyber security efforts and seeking an experienced Team Lead to join our growing Cyber Security team. As our new Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated team, ensuring the robustness of our global security landscape. This role is central to our mission to protect systems, data, and business operations across the organisation.

Your Role

• Report directly to Head of Group IT and play a central role in aligning IT initiatives with business strategy.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of cyber security specialists.
• Ensure continuous improvement of MAKEEN Energy’s security processes and controls.
• Drive implementation and maintenance of security standards and compliance requirements, including CIS18, ISO 27001 and NIS2.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks, propose improvements, and ensure that security efforts support business needs.
• Contribute to the development of MAKEEN Energy’s cyber security strategy.

Your Profile

• A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration. 
• Solid and probably +5 years of experience in cyber security. 
• Maybe you are already a Team Lead - importantly however you have a keen interest in filling a leadership role. 
• Hands-on experience with CIS18, NIS2 and ideally familiarity with ISO27001 requirements. 
• Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and IT security processes. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain and discuss complex technical issues across all stakeholder groups. 
• Motivated by creating structure, developing people, and collaborating across disciplines. 
• Fluency in spoken and written Danish and English
