Main features of the procedure
:
The aim of the procurement is that all 110 centres in the future shall have one common tool for handling incoming alarms. A new system shall take care of the need for more automated processes than the different tools that the different 110 switchboards currently use can support. The procurement of a joint system shall result in a more cost efficient operation of alarm management in a national perspective. A new system shall be scaleable for the entire Norway, so that the future can expand or limit the coverage area for a new system as needed. A new AHV shall also be scalable for flexibility and innovation, so that new technology and new, good systems can be implemented and put to use. Another aim of the procurement is that the 110 centres shall experience a safe and good transition with phasing out of the old tool to the new tool.
