The Danish Defence will in 2017 acquire 2 variations of a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat 850 (RHIB 850). Variation

one (1) is for The Danish Defence, Multi-role frigates and Arctic patrol ships, which primarily operates in the

waters around The Faroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland, and variation two (2) is for the Danish Defence,

Command & support ships and Frigates which operates Worldwide.

It is approximately 30 boats.

RHIB 850 will basically be used for taking care of operational and logistics tasks like transport of staff and/or

goods in different scenarios, fishing control plus Search and Rescue. Deployment of RHIB850 will take place

from ship to ship as well as from ship to land. RHIB 850 must be able to operate globally under all weather

conditions.

DALO invites hereby the market of potential suppliers / vendors to a dialogue for analysing the various options/

solutions possible for this acquisition.

An information for request in terms of a Questionnaire is attached to this announcement.

DALO is conducting the technical dialogue / market survey via Mercell Sourcing Services, and questions can be

submitted via the communications ‘tab’ in Mercell.

DALO emphasizes that it will not influence your participation in a possible future tender on the RHIB-850 SVN to

DALO, should you decline to participate or only partly fill out the questionnaire.

DALO has prepared a questionnaire through which DALO wishes to gain further information about the

possibilities in the market. The questionnaire can be obtained by using the below link to the Mercell webpage

(look under files). We ask suppliers to fill in the Excel Questionnaire as fulfilling as possible. Kindly use the

structure given in the Questionnaire. Do not insert extra lines or remove lines. If the supplier does not want to

answer a given question, just leave it ‘empty’.

The supplier is welcome to enclose other relevant material not explicitly requested by DALO. E.g. documents

describing the suggested solution in a format chosen by the supplier, brochures etc. DALO request that the filled in Questionnaire and all other additional material are uploaded to the Mercell webpage using the link in clause I.1 no later than 12.4.2016 at noon.

The RFI process may be followed by a formal tender procedure according to the rules of either Directive

2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council or Directive 2004/18.
