Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO) plans to tender a framework agreement regarding acquisition of hearing protection, which is used in the Danish Defence, including the Danish Home Guard and the Danish Emergency Management Agency.

As part of the preparation to the tender, DALO would like to request information regarding some specific topics from potential suppliers. Therefore, DALO has prepared this Request for Information (RFI) where the purpose is to understand if and how the users’ needs can be fulfilled and to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged for both DALO and the tenderers according to EU regulation.

DALO has identified an increased need for hearing protection. The need covers four different categories of hearing protection; in ear active, in ear passive, on ear active and on ear passive protection. Please note the tender will only include hearing protection without communication.

As part of the preparation to the tender, DALO would like to request information regarding some specific topics from potential suppliers. Therefore, DALO has prepared this RFI where the purpose is to understand if and how the users’ needs can be fulfilled and to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged for both DALO and the tenderers according to EU regulation.

DALO would ask potential suppliers to review and answer on our questions contained in RFI response sheet, available at the address in Section I.3).

DALO would like to emphasize that it will not influence your participation in a future tender, should you decline to participate or only partly fill out the response sheet. We ask that you upload your response to ETHICS no later than 14 January 2022.

Regarding section II.1.5), the estimated value of the framework agreement is between 7 and 14 mil. DKK. The value is depending on the number of buyers who will be entitled to use the agreement and the answers received during this market dialogue.

Regarding section II.1.6), the answers received during this market dialogue will be used when deciding whether the agreement will be divided into lots.
