YOUR ROLE
Advansor is looking for an ambitious Warehouse Manager, who with a structured approach and good people management skills can ensure that the warehouse team work together to support our production of sustainable cooling and heating systems.
The current warehouse team consists of 23 dedicated employees. Your most important success criteria will be to ensure motivation, commitment and development within the team and contribute to optimising production according to defined quality standards and delivery times. It is also essential to ensure processes are in place to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
The position reports to the Chief Operating Manager.
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE TO:
- Create overview and structure to ensure optimal and efficient warehouse operations and deliver in the right quality within agreed deadlines
- Ensure processes are in place to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Ensure inbound quality control
- Drive continuous optimization and improvement of inventory, workflows and processes
- Run department meetings with focus on operational efficiency
- Lead and motivate the team
- Ensure education and training of staff
- Attract, hire and retain staff
- Manage staffing and overtime planning
YOUR PROFILE
You have several years of management experience in a similar role within logistics and warehousing. Preferably you have leadership experience from the production industry, where you have created good results in your career.
You are known as a good people manager who is naturally assertive and good at achieving results with others. You lead in an empathetic and visible way and know how to motivate and engage your team.
You take great pride in ensuring the quality of your work, and you are analytical, structured and systematic in your approach. We expect you to be highly focused on safety and quality, while still being able to make sure the team meet its deadlines.
Your communication skills are good, and you have a good understanding of different cultural backgrounds, and as the corporate language in ADVANSOR is English, you must be able to communicate effortlessly in English — both verbally and in writing.
