The job
As Manager, Automation you will be responsible for building up the department of automation. You will have a central role in defining processes and making them known in the organization. Also, you will work with skilled and competent colleagues globally. Besides this, your tasks will be: 

  • Responsible for staffing plan
  • Motivating and creating your team and securing high quality
  • Contact customers and internal stakeholders
  • Active and constructive communication with the project managers to maintain an effective staffing plan, keep up timeline and execution of projects.
  • Maintain structure and overview in projects
  • Support standardization in execution and processes to increase efficiency

Your profile
We envisage that you have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience which has given you an understanding of  Hardware and software within Automation, PLC, and control systems. You have at least 8 years of professional experience in Automation.

Besides having a sound commercial understanding, you have solid experience in developing and the ability to motivate your team.  You are a brilliant communicator and can make things clear.
With your profile, structure and working systematically is important for you – but you still have a creative mind and are brilliant at getting new ideas and understand how to convert your ideas into sustainable solutions that work in the real world. As some of your employees will be located in other countries, you have experience with dealing with employees of different nationalities.
