Then join us and become the QA Coordinator within the TEM and TRW Departments responsible for the electro-mechanical and railway contracts overseeing the design and build contractor’s performance. The multi-billion DKK contracts covers the systems that together will enable Femern A/S to manage efficiently and to highest quality standards in terms of operation, maintenance, safety and security of the fixed link.

Femern A/S is constructing under design and build contracts the 18 km long tunnel between Puttgarden in Germany and Rødbyhavn in Denmark. As project owner, Femern A/S is the company responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel. Femern A/S is a subsidiary company of the state-owned Sund & Bælt Group, who is also responsible for the Øresund Link and the Great Belt Link.

The Job
You will – alongside the Project Control Manager and Contract Director – be responsible for Quality Assurance of the full contract lifecycle, involving the electro-mechanical (TEM) and railway (TRW) contracts including high & low voltage power supplies, catenary/traction power for railways, tunnel ventilation, controls & automation systems, HVAC, lighting etc..
You will play a key role in progressing the project by assisting in reviewing and checking contractors documents for quality compliance, document management compliance, planing and executing, witnessing and audits, handling NCRs, assisting in the management of interfaces and to producing documents needed for reporting.
Your key tasks will be:
- QA witnessing, assisting in handling NCRs, Compliance, Document Management, assist in management of interfaces.
- Assist in audit and reporting of contractor’s QA systems compliance.
- Reviewing contractor’s QA documents / manuals, etc..
- Coordinate external audits for contractors and internal for Femern A/S.
- To assist in updating Femern’s internal Quality Assurance Management System.
- Data updating, reporting on objectives (KPIs), data validation for reporting.
- Assistance / witnessing on Corporate Social Responsibilities compliances and on climate issues.
- Stakeholder Management.
Your profile:
You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with approximately 5 years of experience in project management and quality assurance, preferably on high complexity large scale civil or infrastructure projects with knowledge in multi-disciplined electro-mechanical and railway works. A good understanding of how project management controls relate to other project functions such as HSE, construction, procurement, reporting, design, contract management etc..
The ideal candidate will have the following key competencies & qualifications:
- Experience with project control management and preferably certified competences in Project Management
- Speaking and writing English fluently, thrive in an international environment and be able to create good relationships within the team and with your stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate on a professional level.
- Be good at creating interpersonal relations and delivering your messages clearly and unambiguously.
- Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated and pro-active with good attention to detail
- Construction Site experienced as from working with general contractors is appreciated / an advantage.
- Familiar with e.g. Microsoft Office, Power BI and project management tools.
