Lock it with the lever and the workpiece is securely clamped: The new cam screws with locking lever from norelem are ideally suited for tool-free clamping, for example in assembly and laser applications with frequent workpiece changes. They can be used for a wide range of applications and are operated intuitively – without a torque wrench or hex key, directly on the clamping device. norelem offers two different designs in various sizes and clamping forces in its new range.

Cam screws with an integrated locking lever offer many advantages, especially in assembly areas where frequent clamping and releasing is required. Thanks to the lever, multiple elements can be clamped quickly, and the handle position can be flexibly adjusted so that no interfering contour remains in the clamping setup. In addition, the cam screws can be used for multiple clamping applications.

By using several clamping cam screws with locking levers, fixtures can be equipped with multiple workpieces or complex setups before entering the machine, significantly reducing setup time.

New additions to the clamping technology range
norelem has expanded its product range with new cam screws with locking lever in different designs:

• Hexagonal brass clamping nut, ensuring gentle yet firm and secure clamping of workpieces
• Knife edge washer for clamping raw parts, such as saw-cut parts, castings, and forged parts
• Thread sizes from M6 to M16
• Clamping forces from 1.2 to 2.8 kN (depending on design)

Typical applications include assembly and laser areas with short cycle times and medium loads, such as assembly fixtures, inspection gauges, manual workstations, or pre-assembly of subassemblies. The products can also be used on machining plates for milling applications.
