Global Service Manager for B&O PLAY

Join a strong dedicated team in B&O PLAY Global Sales Operations
You will be part of Global Sales Operations, a new B&O PLAY division which is responsible for developing our sales operations for Bang & Olufsen shops and third party resellers across Europe, the US, Asia and our B&O PLAY web shops. We are responsible for the entire customer value chain from the product leaves the warehouse until the customer has purchased it. In the near future, we will be a team of five dedicated entrepreneurs, and you will be working from our offices in Lyngby, Denmark.

Ownership of service business scenario and refurbishment strategy
As B&O PLAY’s Global Service Manager, your key objective is to develop B&O PLAY’s global service procedures and refurbishment strategy while ensuring that the commercial setup for the service business is optimised.

One of your main responsibilities will be to take ownership of the entire service business scenario, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience at the lowest possible cost. Consider for example whether the customer service level should be the same throughout the world or locally adapted - and what about the level of online service? In dialogue with stakeholders across global sales offices, you will also define the future global service procedures.

Furthermore, you are responsible for the B&O PLAY refurbishment strategy. Here, a significant task is to monitor and coordinate the refurbishment stock levels and make sure that the products are being handled according to the strategy. This involves close cooperation with the Bang & Olufsen Operations Group in Struer as well as with global warehouses and the service organisation.

Something from nothing
As Global Service Manager, you will work very independently as sole responsible for service in B&O PLAY and your primary sparring partners will be the Bang & Olufsen Service team and the B&O PLAY Sales Operations team. You will join a group of people who are passionate about building our business and for whom change is an opportunity for improvement.

Commercial mind set and experience with global logistics
You have 5+ years’ experience from the consumer electronics industry or similar as Supply Chain Manager, ServiceManager or technical buyer, providing you with technical flair and strong commercial focus.
• You make independent decisions and present them based on a broad range of input.
• Your coordination skills must be above par - and you communicate fluently in English.
• You are able to structure and present an extremely complex setup so it is clear, simple and operational.

As a person you are a natural self-starter and ready to take on the challenge of working in an ever changing setup. You are dedicated and able to manage complex tasks with many stakeholders. You will be communicating service related subjects to all B&O Play sales channels which will involve approximately 20 days of international travel combined with some trips to our offices in Struer.
